Off-road rescue planning and references

See the State SAR directory for local search and rescue contacts.

Operator training

Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association provides ROV safety and driver-training information. This is general off-highway vehicle safety training, not a search and rescue certification.

Check the SAR training calendar. For equipment limits, follow the vehicle and installed rescue system manufacturers’ instructions.

Submit an off-road rescue team or correction with an official source and service area.
